December 30 - had about 26 minutes in can with audio problems. Trying to use the location audio so i won't have to loop in a studio.
Jan30 have about 30 minutes in can - better audio some corrections on matching color from scene to scene and music added.

No real progress since 1/27 when we had 39 minutes in can - consultant suggested changes - script partially rewritten by 3/17.

May 31st burned first successful DVD of the first 34 minutes -- Scenes 1-62 which include the kids opening fight, the funeral and 2 songs in the chapel and arrival and blackmail of principals at White Hall

Burned
Scenes 1 through 85 onto DVD. Have 48 minutes of nearly
finished movie completed. The scenes cover the kids outside the
church, the funeral, some of the side room, and most of the White Hall
Kathleen White is now the "chief dude" at White Hall. She's working very hard and was even mowing the lawn when i saw her. That is a story you'll have to get from her.
July 27 Been revising scenes 1-85 cutting down the music which was too loud once burned to DVD. Reedited a few scenes to cover some errors that had crept into the video. Enhanced the cast audio that was low once burned. Tried to export and burn - as usual after 4 hours - computer burped.
Shot the Kitchen scene at my house and showed the principals the July 13 DVD version. They seemed reservedly acceptant of the product.
February Premier looks possible now. It took from February 2003 until July 13, 2004 to get the first 46 minutes in Beta and a good copy in August. Today, September 9 2004, I burned the First Hour successfully. ---- September 04 68 minutes successfully burned to DVD

First 68 minutes were shown to test
group of 42 adults - ages 45 - 83 on a bus traveling
from Utah to Las Vegas, Nev. The group gave many nice
comments. How did this happen? While on
vacation the director mentioned the movie and was requested to show it.
He just happened to have a copy with him. Only two of the 42 guessed correctly "Who dun it."

Premiere activities cancelled Jan 06,2005 scheduled Jan 18, 2005 Successfully burned all action shots including surprise ending to DVD with Beta DVD interface February 19 showed Final Ver 3 to Dr. Janet Kenney in
Moorehead. On her player the opening 1/3 of the movie has music
too loud. So back to editor. Contacted Duplicating services for DVDs. Feb 26 Decision - DVD will not be ready at Premiere due to the 2 weeks the director lost going to Texas on a family crisis which included the death of his step father and the installing of his mother in a nursing home.-- and the daily calls from Kentucky to Texas trying to finalize the arrangements. for anyone "who needs to know" according to my source. Larry won the Area Toastmasters Evaluation contest--came in 3rd at district--"guess you can't win 'em all" he was heard to mutter. Elizabeth (Ledford) Grandma 5-25? Lisa Curtsinger (Office manager) & Randy Wilson (Cinematographer) graduated 8-1-03 Director goes to Hawaii to produce music for score Rusty goes to Europe Mayor and RAT looking at Herndon Barn as "theatre." Mayor suggested possible use of the new community center for RAT's spring/summer production by Dane. Work to begin on ROSE BARN THEATRE--photo shoot Sat July 31, 2004. The Battle of Richmond group will provide RAT with a new permanent home. Director played John Miller in Pond Church's PIONEER CHRISTMAS dinner theatre production. Dec 10 and 11, 2004 Director cast as Mayor Shine in upcoming Music Man to be performed in the Rose Barn Theater. Director's step father died and mother was installed in a nursing home. |

March 5 - Premiere - over 200 attended - nice review in the Register by Mason Smith (click here to read it) March 12,13, 18 & 19 Movie played in EKU's Hummel planetarium. Small but appreciative audiences with many compliments on the writing and production of the movie. March 21 Director Taking a hiatus from movie work (except the web site) and doing the DVD in May April 12 planned Lexington Premiere - Wrote to ACE to see if they will carry it. Delivered copy to Lexington Herald Leader in February - hoping for a review before April 12
