REASON FOR this Page
Sometimes
the web just doesn't deliver email and sometimes we inadvertently lose
same, so this page will contain copies of emails sent to directors and
other significant project participants.
Some of the
email message may be deleted as in "expletives" and personal comments. |
To: Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow
Directors
From: Dr. Larry C. Bobbert, Project
Producer/Director
6/30/05
...thanks for being part of
the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow
project.
If you don't get this - yell
 ..
If you do get it an
reply would be nice since I hope to make this a
mailing group.
Please check the URL of the Sleepy Hollow web site
look at the SCRIPT
using the original story divided into a preliminary draft for script
writing and chose a section that
you would like to "play" with.
Other information on the project is also on the site for your
perusal.
"sections" of the story will be handed out on a
first request-first received
bases, so the sooner you explore the material
the better. Have listed 6 directors, but have talked to Rusty who
may also do a scene.
If you get this
message and have changed your mind about directing, or
whatever. PLEASE let me know ASP--yesterday
would have been good.
Tentatively, the first meeting
will follow the July business
meeting 7/12. If you can't
make that Tuesday, we may change it to the following
Wed. I know Tom teaches
Tuesdays. Anyone else want to forgo the long business meeting and
meet at my house 7/13 around
7:00PM. will have soft drinks, air conditioning nice long
table--some wine too.
May also invite a couple Transition directors and
or advisers i.e. Dane Hosler, etc.
7/19 will be presenting the project to the
Kiwanis membership for ideas on concessions in addition to food and
beverages. The K board likes the project.
And finally, check out the BARN layout linked on the site. It
includes a Tavern for parents which includes a video--hope to shoot
a video of each scene the Thursday of Dress Rehearsal and have it
playing -- for sale and for entertainment. Profits from the sales
will go to the Sleepy Hollow Project income with just a little more
than expenses going to the video editor since I think i may do all
the shooting so it can go together fast enough to be ready the
following day.
One of the concessions will be a RAT/RBT concession and depending on
the "board" it will sell the Season Tickets, cards, DVD's of Mid
Summer, Bluegrass who dun it and Sleepy Hollow.
A meeting agenda will appear on the web site soon.
Thanks
Larry
